Marguerite Ann Rabalais

Marguerite Ann Rabalais, born on December 10, 1958 in New Orleans, LA has passed away on October 6, 2024 at the age of 65, at 7:20 AM. She was preceded in death by her parents Wallace A. Rabalais and Leola Perret Rabalais. She is survived by her siblings Patricia C. Rabalais, Jeanne R. Sahuque (Richard), Donna R. Miranda (Alberto), and Wallace A. Rabalais (Karen). Survived by niece and goddaughter Tammy M. Lorusso (Ryan), niece Jennifer S. Linam (Michael), nephew Gary A. Miranda (Amy), nephew Daniel V. Sahuque (Melissa), Sean Rabalais, Steven Rabalais (Jennifer), Scott Rabalais, and Stacy Rabalais. Also survived by 15 great nieces and nephews: Hannah, Emma, Ava, Gary Jr., Lily, Isabella, Savannah, Makenzie, Haide, Sophie, Aubrey, Drew, Willow, Ainsley, and Gage; and her very best friend since 1973, Kathy B. Padron.

Margaret was so loved by all who knew her, she will be always in our hearts. She was an avid Elvis fan and proud Vice President of the "King Creole Elvis Presley Fan Club". She attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church & Gayarre Grammar Schools, Livingston Middle School, Abramson High School, Class of 1977. She also attended the University of New Orleans and was in the band of every school she attended. She played saxophone and clarinet and won numerous medals for music. She also played with the Jefferson Parish Community Band.

A visitation for Marguerite will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006, followed by a catholic funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM.
