Mrs. Leah Irma Hoover Dicharry

Leah Irma Hoover Dicharry, age 87 passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday evening, November 27, 2014. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Richard Joseph Dicharry. Loving mother of Richard Joseph Dicharry Jr. (Peggy) and Cheryl Dicharry D’Antonio (Miles). Grandmother of Daniel Dicharry (Jennifer), Douglas Dicharry (Angelle), Denise Dicharry Galjour, Stephen J. D’Antonio (Jill), Dean J. D’Antonio (Mary), and Katherine D’Antonio Hurd (Linsey). Great-grandmother of Dylan Dicharry, Adelynn Dicharry, and Harrison Dicharry. Sister of Nelva Muhoberac, and the late Shirley Anderson, Dennis Hoover, Herbert Hoover, Curtis Hoover, and Loyal Hoover. Daughter of the late Dennis and Catherine Lawson Hoover. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Leah was a native and lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, and devoted her life to caring for and loving her beautiful family. She will be dearly missed by all whom she touched throughout her 87 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from ST. ANGELA MERICI, 901 Beverly Garden Drive, Metairie, on Monday afternoon, December 1, 2014 at 1:00. Visitation will begin in church at 11:00 in the morning.
