Lawrence “Larry” Aucoin, Jr. passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Janice LeBlanc Aucoin for 58 years. Father of Wayne J. Aucoin, Sr. (Trudy) and Daryn A. Clark (Steve). Grandfather of Jennifer R. Snowden (Stephen), Adrienne M. Aucoin, Laura E. Aucoin and Wayne J. Aucoin, Jr. Great-grandfather of Donavan M. Snowden, Lauren A. Snowden and Jayce E. Aucoin. Son of the late Lawrence and Ethel Aucoin. Brother of Mary Ann “Mamie” Belcher. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 until 1955 and retired from the Jefferson Parish School System where he drove bus no. 455.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until funeral time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
