Julia Sandoval Ragusa, age 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 after a brief illness. She was born on December 8, 1923 in San Luis Jilotepeque, Departamento de Jalapa, Guatemala, Central America and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1965, where she worked as a seamstress for Deansgate Company until her retirement. In 1971, she moved to Kenner, Louisiana where she lived until the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Melissa Gonzalez. She is survived by her four children, Julio H. Gonzalez, Hugo G. Gonzalez (Xiomara), Maria A. Arriola (Fernando), and Carmen D. Clark (Neal), 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
