Josephine "Josie" S. Morales

Josephine “Josie” S. Morales passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday morning July 23, 2015. She was 82 years old. Beloved wife of the late Dominick Joseph Morales Sr. Loving mother of Dana M. Fontenot (Neil) and Dominick “Donnie” J. Morales Jr. (Dawn). Grandmother of Crystal Folse, Neil Fontenot Jr., Cody Morales, and Kaylyn Morales. Daughter of the late James and Theresa Abate Sparacello. Sister of Anthony V. Sparacello and Marie Crews, and the late Samuel, Louis, Joe, Frank, Vincent, and Jimmy Sparacello. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a native of Tickfaw, and resident of River Ridge for over 49 years. Josie devoted her life to caring for her loving family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in the morning. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Mausoleum, Tickfaw.
