Frances Ann “Franny” Sallinger Montana, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Montana, Jr. Daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Sallinger. Sister of Carlo Sallinger (Irene) of Lakewood, Washington, Dolores Wagar (John) and Diane Hart (Walter). Franny was also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and nieces, especially Chris, Brian, John Jr., Carlo Jr., Rene, Leona, Eva and the late Ernie, Jr. as well as cousins and friends. Franny was the sweetest person, she loved everyone and everyone loved her. Her family would like to thank the staff of East Jefferson Hospital Geriatric Department and Waldon Healthcare. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Maria Goretti Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, April 20, 2017 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM with Monsignor Earl Gauthreaux officiating.
