Curtis Gonzales

Curtis Gonzales passed away on Saturday April 14, 2012 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Mary Gonzales for 61 years. Devoted father of Wayne Gonzales (Lauren Wittels) and Bryan Gonzales (Elise Snoeren). Loving grandfather of Ruby Wittels Gonzales. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Gonzales, and his siblings, John Gonzales, Earline Broussard and Olga Boover. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

A native of New Orleans, LA, resident of Arabi, LA for 45 years and a resident of Slidell, LA since Hurricane Katrina. Curtis retired after 32 years from Anheuser Busch.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice Northshore for their care and support during this difficult time.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until mass time. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
