Cindy Marie Greer

Cindy was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and friend. She had a unique character that brought joy to everyone she met. Cindy never met a stranger and always put others' needs before her own. She was the heart and soul of her family, pouring all her love and care into her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Cindy's relentless work ethic and strength will be carried on for generations. She had a compassionate nature and loved everyone unconditionally with a pure heart.

Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Darrel Bacon. She is survived by her children, Stacy Mulkey (Eulan), Patricia Gonzalez (Raymond), and Robert Greer (Tara). Cindy was a devoted grandmother to Damon Mulkey Jr. (Hannah), Victoria Greer, Duane Pique Jr., Meah Mulkey, and Emarie Greer. She was also a great grandmother to Grayson, Damon III, and Maci Mae. Cindy was a beloved sister to Peter Williams (Cindy), Daniel (Danny) Williams (Kathi), Wanda Edwards (Dale), Jean (Jeannie) Guidry (Lee), Catherine Bordlee (Ricky), and the late Linda Fowler (Cliffton), James (Jimmy) Williams (Shirley), and Deborah Sicard. She was cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services for Cindy will be held on Monday, January 29th, 2024, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, located at 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., followed by Mass at 7 p.m.
