Charles James Wisler

Chuck was a real estate agent, broker, and developer for many years. He loved traveling, especially hiking in the mountains and relaxing on the beach. He enjoyed attending local festivals and concerts with his wife. He also loved coaching his sons, and still enjoyed being called “Coach Chuck” by his former players.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Olga, father, Ernest, brother, Ernest, sister, Patricia Kelly, and father-in-law, George Brewster.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Terry Murphy Wisler, his sons, Chad (Keri) and Ryan (Sheena), two granddaughters, Kyla and Korrin Wisler, his mother-in-law, Janet Brewster, brother, Paul, and sister, Judith Dubroc, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to his wonderful caregiver, Barbara Honeycut and his nurse, Margaret Caruso.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Mass beginning at 11:00 AM.
