Kathleen let me begin by offering my heartfelt sympathy to you and the family. Throuh  your postings I am "meeting" Bridget. She certainly had a market on love from friends and family. I am so glad we got to spend some time together while you lived in Galveston. We had so many fun nights just us and the girls. I wish we could have stayed in better touch after you moved back home. I will never forget you.

Lexie and Amber,two of the most inportant people in Bridget's life. I am sorry you lost something wonderful in your life at such a young age. Tho she has gone to heaven, Always remember she is still with you deep in your heart just as you are in hers.  She will not leave, she will be with you always.

Oh sweet Bridget, I can remember when Patrice brought u an the girls over an u stayed with me until u found a place  I remember how well u an Patrice took care of me after my fall. You , Patrice an I made a good team. Now u are free of all the pain and u have a body free of affliction   Rest honey an enjoy listening to your music   Patrice I will be around for you. I can honestly say I know what you are going thru. Girls remember your mom loved you. Now continue to make her proud. Never let those grandchildren forget her. Keep her memory alive. Bridget I can remember when u spent those days at my condo an when u helped nurse me back to health when I fell. U can count on me to look after our wonderful friend Patrice. U were a special friend, my girl. U are now resting without pain!   I  Loved u girl an I no u knew it. Now it is time for u to rest. If u meet my Sammy u will find a very good friend. Kathleen and family,  I loved my time working with Bridget at The Claire Company and the time after when we remained close friends, maybe not in presence the past few years, but in our hearts. She was so dear, so smart, so joyful, so motivated, during those years. It was heartbreaking and beyond understanding that someone so precious had such a terrible disease. The only consolation is she is laughing and dancing now, with no pain.  May God comfort your family  always.

Kathleen, I can't began to know what you are going through now. They say that memories help you cope during this heart breaking time. We surely have a lot of great Hawkette memories with Bridget. Bridge where do I begin, from the day you were born & until the end I have Always Loved you like a Daughter, you were always our free spirit, I admired you for your determination & what you accomplished as a single parent, juggling work, college it wasn't easy,  always looking out & wanting the best for your girls, even through fighting this disease you have fought & come back so many times, I think you were tired & God seen that, no more suffering & for that I will find Peace, I promise I will look out for Lexie & Amber, Uncle Brooks & Lil Brooks & I will always Love you & you will never be forgotten , you can finally rest my Bridge??

My dear Bridget, I'm so lost without you. A piece of my heart went with you. No words can say, even with your suffering how much I still want you here with me. I know you are in a better place, but it doesn't make it any easier to let you go. I am so lost without you in my life. All I can say is that I will always be here to take care of my granddaughters and great granddaughters for you. I will make sure your memory lives on forever, and your grandchildren will know you and your special ways like you were still here with us. Be happy with your grandparents and other relatives. Your heart, soul and determination have been inspiring and I've missed you from the distance we have been apart for 14 years since I moved away and now I'll miss you for all of my remaining days. We shared the best of times and some of the most challenging. That's the nature of sisterhood that will live on between you, me and Melissa....three girls who have lived such different lives but always found our way home to each other through the years. Melissa and I will carry on this sisterhood forever with you by our side. Thanks to our parents for allowing us to develop a bond like no other in our very own unique ways.
