Barbara Ann Palmer-DuBose

Barbara Ann Palmer-DuBose, age 53, passed away at Canon Hospice on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. She is survived by her husband, Larrie T. DuBose, III; her father and stepmother, Robert and Marie Palmer; her sisters, Margaret Palmer and Glenda Palmer- Meilleur; her father-in-law, Larrie T. DuBose, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Linda V. DuBose; her sister-in-law, Amanda DuBose-Diliberto; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Meilleur and Scott Diliberto. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Isper Palmer. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, photography and playing music. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Special thanks to the staff of Canon Hospice for Barbara’s excellent care. We were made to feel like family which helped ease our grief during her final days.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
