Arthur Dixon

Arthur Dixon passed away peacefully on March 24,2025 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was the loving husband of Constance Dixon ( Cardoza ) with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. Born in Boston, MA he was the son of the late Edward Dixon and Christina Dixon ( Dennis ).

Mr Dixon worked for the town of Wareham Massachusetts for many years until his retirement. Following retirement Arthur and his wife Constance moved South where they would eventually settle in LaPlace, Louisiana where they resided until his passing.

Arthur enjoyed many past times. He enjoyed riding his scooter, reminiscing with his friends about the good old days in Wareham. He loved spending time with family and friends, collecting sports hats, and following the New England sports teams. Arthur had a smile that would light up a room and was always the life of the party.

Surviving in addition to his wife Constance are his children Lynn-Ann Dixon Mitchell and husband Arthur, Lynn Figueroa Johnson and husband Ricky, and John Ruberio. He is also survived by his stepchildren Linda Clapper and husband Reuben, William Fleet, Henry Hughes, Joseph Hughes and wife Danielle, and is predeceased by step-daughter Bonnie Morse. Mr Dixon is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
