Rene Ramos Mata

Rene Ramos Mata, 81, died Friday, September 17, 2021, with his family by his side in Rowlett, Texas. He was born on March 9, 1940, in Laredo Mexico to Guadalupe Ramos. Rene was a hard worker, loving father, grandfather, and role model to all. Rene is survived by his beloved Maria Machado, sister-in-law Genia Mata, children Rene Mata and wife Guadalupe, Diana Mata and husband Albert Ipina, Edgar Mata and wife Virginia Mata, Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband Sergio Rodriguez, Edna Ramos and husband Ed Ramos, 21 grandchildren: Ruben, Monica, Adriana, Albert, Raul, Veronica, Michelle, Marisa, Edgar, Rene, Erika, Steffani, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Jessica, Anita, Sergio, Paul, Vanessa, Melissa, Johnny, 35 great grandchildren, 3 nieces: Hermina Guadalupe Montiel, Maria Eugnia Mata Martinez, Sanjuana Edith Mata Martinez, 1 cousin: Edgar Jair Gonzales Flores and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Guadalupe Ramos, widow Maria del Socorro Villela, sister Leonor Mata, brother Cesar Mata, grandson Rene Mata II and great grandson Matthew Meza. Recitation of the Rosary, Monday, September 27, 2021, at 7PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez given by Raul Morales. Interment will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 10AM. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul Muniz, Alberto Ipina, Gabriel Meza, Ruben Mata, Raul Ipina, Edgar Mata and Rene Mata

A visitation for Rene will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A rosary service will occur Monday, September 27, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:30 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
