Mrs. Grace Gregoria Robles

Mrs. Grace Gregoria Robles, age 83, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Grace was born September 7, 1937 in Bristol, TX to Gregoria and Andrea Gonzalez. Grace attended and graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1957. She married the love of her life David C. Robles in 1960 and they had 3 beautiful children together. She was self employed for more than 15 years.

Grace enjoyed a multitude of things including watching a good John Wayne movie, her dog Briggs, listening to Tejano music, dancing in the kitchen with David, making food for her family particularly tortillas and tamales. She loved taking drives in the country, an occasional visit to Winstar, cheering on her Dallas Cowboys, going to the State Fair of Texas, dining out at many favorite restaurants, and having an occasional praline.

But her true love and greatest joy was bouncing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on her knees. They always brought her great joy and she wanted nothing but the best for them. She loved them so much.

She loved her family, her brothers and sisters, cousins, many nieces and nephews, and their children, her friends and neighbors.

She loved the Lord and attended mass regularly. She prayed the rosary and never hesitated to stop and pray with you and for you. She loved life and all it to offer.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents Gregorio and Andrea Gonzalez, brothers; Juan, Jesse, and Joe Gonzalez, sisters; Lupe Aguero, Mary Gonzalez, and Connie Moreno. Grace is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, David C. Robles Sr.; her children, Vivian and Tray Gomez, David Jr. and Frances Robles, Michael and Misti Robles; grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael Roberson, Erika and James Rien, Andria and Nick Freitag, Marcella and Julio Mojica, Kevin and Krystal Gomez, Chelsea Gomez and Daniel Molsbee, Tyson Llewellyn, Sarah Robles, and Michelle Robles; great-grandchildren, Xavier Murray, Leila Roberson, Christian, Cali and Grayson Rein, Rylee and Aubrey Freitag, Alizay Mojica, Jaxson Anthony Robles

A visitation for Grace will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A funeral service will occur Monday, February 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy of Lord, 1585 E Cartwright Road, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A committal service will occur Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159. A burial will occur at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159.
