Grace Evelyn Ayers

Grace Evelyn Ayers, age 79, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. She was born August 22, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to George McDaniel and Eddie Smith. Grace was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Adamson High School, she married Mack Ayers and the couple had one daughter. Grace worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ribelin Sales for more than 20 years.

In her spare time Grace enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Mack, supporting him in soccer and football. Her family and friends will always remember her as a very caring and supportive mother, grandmother and friend.

Grace is preceded in death by her brothers, David Earl McDaniel, Raymond McDaniel and Turner Garner, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Danielle Graham of Mesquite, Texas; grandson, Mack (Royall) O'Brien; sisters, Ida Campbell of Mississippi and Becky Reyer of Virginia; brothers, Tommy Garner of Texas and Sammy Garner of Canton, Texas as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Grace will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, Texas 75232.
