Frankie J Lane

Frankie Joe Lane, 78, began her journey in her new life on March 10, 2015 with her children and family by her side. Born on May 31, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas where she grew up and moved to the Dallas area around 1970. Preceded in death by parents Jess & Ophelia Robertson of Amarillo, TX and grandson Dustin McJunkin of Carrollton, TX. Frankie, a great mother to daughter Kelly Marsh husband Richard of Carrollton, TX, daughter Nikki Cunningham Fiancé Russell Hill of Sachse, TX and son Chris Lane wife Tracy of Little Rock, AR. A Grandmother (Mimi) to Ben Marsh of Carrollton, TX and Chelsea McJunkin of Little Rock, AR. Beloved Sister to Cloie Edgerton husband E.H of Burleson TX, Tricia Timmins of Johnson City, TX and her brother Pat Robertson wife Anne of Johnson City, TX and many nieces and nephews. Frankie worked as a bookkeeper for Rosewood Resources and McKesson Pharmaceutical before retiring in 2001. Frankie had a sweet soul, kind, giving and wanted to make everyone around her happy. She loved her Dallas Cowboys, reading, shopping and playing any kind of card or board game. She enjoyed singing Alto with her siblings in Church and in many family functions. Frankie will be dearly missed but we can all be comforted by the knowledge she is with our Lord singing in His Heavenly Choir. A celebration of life and scattering of her ashes will be on our families’ ranch at 875 MTR Ranch Road, Johnson City, TX 78636.
