We have been lucky enough to have one of the best mothers/grandmothers out there.
Nanny is now with the angels and we couldn’t miss her more. Even though she made it to 92, she deserved so many more years of life. She was our best friend from day one and we won’t ever go a second without thinking of her.
We will miss playing spades until all hours of the night and eating raisins soaked in bourbon. We will fondly remember watching General Hospital under a card table fort in her living room and eating the best "Nanny toast" you ever had. We remember going to Big D Bazaar and hunting for Archie comic books. She loved her favorite jewelry store almost as much as she loved thrift shops and the Dollar Tree.
She was our hero and we are lost without her. We love you so very much, Nanny. Rest in eternal peace.
