Ernest "Ernie" Dale Bell was born January 11, 1942 in Dallas, Texas and passed away at the age 80 in Dallas, Texas on May 10, 2022. Ernie is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Bell and Maudie Meador, sister Melba Sue Seyferth and his daughter Kim Smallwood. Ernie is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 46 years Kathrine "Kathy" Bell, daughter Kimberley Bell Hogan and husband Steve, son Bryan Bell and wife Tera, daughter Montel Ridge, son Monty Gordon and wife Tara, daughter Shannon Fomby and husband Mitch and daughter Samantha Hyde and husband Forrest, 20 grandchildren Kelby, Kameron, Paden, Emma, Chance, Lily, Chelsea, Travis, Jamie, Jonathan, Maverick, Alex, Harley, Cash, Madison, Alexx, Hayden, Erika, Mason and Grayson, 17 great grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends.
Ernie was an entrepreneur and owned Ernie Bell's Hot Rodz Café in Terrell, Texas for over 22 years, he also worked at Keller's Drive-In located in Dallas, Texas for 30 years. He was also an avid collector and lover of antique cars, enjoyed going to swap meets and catching up with his friends. Ernie was the best husband to his wife Kathy, a great father, papa, great grandfather, and friend and will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
