He graduated from Chicago School of Art and received a degree in graphic arts.
He married Constance Rae Bohney on December 28th, 1957 in LaPorte, Indiana. They were married for 42 years, until Constance passed on August 19th, 2000. Together they had two daughters and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In 2004, Wayne married his longtime friend Ann (Krupp) Harris and is survived by her today.
Wayne had a career as a commercial artist for Gratziano Kraft and Zale in Chicago, Illinois. He had a passion for art, canoeing, and gardening.
Wayne was survived by his wife Ann (Krupp) Harris; daughters Debie Fultz (Bob Fultz) and deLea Harris (Glenn Heinen); grandchildren Jason Fultz, Brian Fultz, Christina Fultz, Tommy Smolinski, and Jimmy Smolinski; greatgrandchildren Kaylee Buchtel, Ethan Fultz, Tatum Fultz, Lilly Fultz, and Wyatt Smolinski (who was born the day he died).
A memorial service for Wayne will be held Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at 3:30 PM at St Luke's Lutheran Church, 807 N Stapley Dr, Mesa, AZ 85203.
