Tom was a member of the Black Horse Armored Calvary, and served two tours in Vietnam as a combat medic. Tom was honorably discharged after 11 years of service, and upon his discharge lived in Germany for several years. Upon his return to the states he received training as a respiratory therapist. He opened his own business, Professional Respiratory Care Services, which he operated for 11 years. He then worked in many capacities as a respiratory therapist and a nurse including the V.A. Hospital in Phoenix. Tom had a great passion for cars, and owned many different vehicles during his lifetime.
He married his beautiful wife, Linda, in 1983, and they spent many years together traveling abroad, of which Tom’s favorite destination was Holland, where his daughter Milly and her family reside. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Johnny and sister, Mildred. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Milly Brown (Craig), step-granddaughter Naomi, sister, Marie Penso (Trevor), and many nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
