Steven Dale Oestrike, age 68, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Steve was born at Hill AFB, Utah to the late Richard Oestrike of Flat Rock, Michigan and the late Shirley Oestrike of Chandler Arizona. Steve's father was in the Air Force which led Steve to live on multiple bases including Andrews AFB Washington DC, MacDill AFB Florida, Wiesbaden AFB Germany, and Scott AFB, Illinois before finally ending in the Valley of the Sun in multiple locations. Steve was a fast car enthusiast and his preferred car was the Dodge Challenger. Steve also enjoyed rooting for the Arizona Cardinals and Diamondbacks along with his favorite college teams. Steve’s friends will best remember him for his big heart as he was always sharing with all that Steve had to give.
Steve is survived by his brother Robert Oestrike of Glen Rock Pennsylvania and his wife Brenda, nephews Caleb and Benjamin and niece Rachel. He is succeeded in death by his brother Donald Oestrike of Flat Rock Michigan.
A Celebration of Life for Steve will be held at the Wood Shed II, 430 North Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona 85201 on Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
