Sarah Agnes Rathai, resident of Mesa, AZ passed away, May 7, 2021 at the age of 92. She was born October 8, 1928 in Loveland, CO. Sarah was raised in Carlisle, IA and graduated from Carlisle School. She was mainly a homemaker, but did volunteer her time at Desert Samaritan Hospital for a while. She loved sports, especially basketball and loved watching her grandsons play sports and play in the band. Sarah, enjoyed to sew clothing for herself and her family and made her daughter a wedding dress that was beautiful. In her retirement, she enjoyed making ceramics and other crafts. Sarah is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Nickle (Eric DePoy) ; grandchildren, Nicholas Redwine (Cassandra Wolfe) and Tanner Redwine (Jessye Redwine); as well as her great grandson, Owen Redwine, Tanner and Jessye’s son.
