Ronald Joseph Webster, 91, passed away in his sleep to join his wife Dorothy of 63 years, on December 30th, at the Summit Care Center in Mesa, AZ. Ron was born on 7-27-1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Arizona in 1964 with his family. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Sister Dorothy Clare of Joliet, IL, and 5 children, Joseph (Debra) Webster, Mary (Ron) Krosting, Joanne (Larry) Loos, James (Jyl) Webster, and Teri Webster. Ron also has 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Ronald was a Navy Veteran. He joined the service in 1945 and served aboard the USS Lexington. He attended Tri State College in Angola, using the GI Bill. Ron received his Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering in 2 years and graduated in 1949. Ronald and Dorothy were married in 1948. They loved to travel and would plan extended vacations whenever possible. As a couple and a family, they visited all 50 states at least once. Ron was also very active in roller skating and square dancing until he had a stroke in 2016. Ronald had a very full life and was loved by many.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, January 13, 2019, at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206.
