Robert Anthony Otteson, 76, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away at his home on July 1st, 2022. He is survived by his wife Nancy Jo Otteson; son Chad Otteson; daughters Denise Galvadon, Tina Pedrosa (Keith), Nanette Teninty (Jimmy), Theresa Mainus ; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and his sister Donna Anderson. Preceded in death by son-in-laws Robert Galvadon, and Jamie Mainus.
Bob was born in Fountain Green, Utah on September 22nd, 1945. He attended Grantsville High School. Robert had a passion for stock car racing, drag racing, boating, and hunting.
On August 28, 1964 he married Nancy Jo Butcher. His family will remember him as a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed family time at the lakes and rivers and being outdoors.
Bob was a successful supervisor in the mining industry for over 30 years. His career led him and his family to reside in many states such as Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, and Arizona. Bob was extremely hard working and he broke several records, and received many awards within the mining industry.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on July 16th, 2022 at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa, AZ.
