Robert Joseph Connor “Bob” passed away March 30, 2013 in Apache Junction, Arizona. Bob was born to William James Connor and Blanch Spencer Connor in Northampton, Massachusetts March 19, 1929. Bob’s first love, Dorothy Bostic presented him with six lovely children. He then met and married the second love of his life Alexandra “Sandy” Nedveski in the early 1970’s and had one lovely child which was Bob’s seventh. Bob was a very hard worker and was best known for his position as the Head of Shipping & Receiving at National Gypsum (formerly Multi-Color). Bob and Sandy fixed up and re-sold houses on the side. After retiring, he spent lots of time doing his woodshop activities as well as traveling the country with Sandy in their RV. He was an avid reader and especially loved Western, Sci-Fi and Mystery novels especially Sherlock Holmes. He was a devout Catholic and a good family man who loved his seven children dearly. Bob will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Sandy; his children Brian Connor of AZ, Donna Long of MA, Terri Crow of TX, John Connor of MA, Sharon Mote of TX and Dawn Connor of AZ as well as ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings; Bill Connor, Richard Connor, James Connor, Mary Connor, Thomas Connor and Ann Sunshine. He was preceded in death by his son Robert “Rob” Connor and his brother Francis Connor. A Memorial Service will be held for Bob on Friday, April 05, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Garden Chapel 6747 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206.
