Pietro "Peter" Antonino Balistreri

Pietro “Peter” Antonino Balistreri, 30, of San Tan Valley, AZ passed away July 19, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. He was born February 23, 1990 in Milwaukee, WI to Francesco and Antonina [Grasso] Balistreri. Peter attended Whitnall High School in Greenfield, WI, graduating with the class of 2008. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and loved exotic cars, sports cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed working out, staying fit and was always known to be a prankster. Peter is survived by his loving mother, Antonina Balistreri; his sister, Angela Balistreri; brother Rosario Balistreri (Brianda Lopez); nephew Francesco Balistreri; niece, Isabella Balistreri; his uncles, Domenico and Frank Grasso; his aunt, Mary Ann Yanke (Joseph), as well as numerous cousins, friend and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Francesco; his maternal grandparents, Rosario and Maria Grasso and his paternal grandparents, Pietro and Angelina Balistreri. A rosary service will be held on July 28, 2020 at 10:00 am with a funeral mass at 10:30 am at St George Catholic Church, 300 W. 16th Ave, Apache Junction, AZ. Visitation will be held on July 28, 2020 at 12:00 – 4:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ.
