Mary Kathryn Holloway

Mary Katheryn Swartz Holloway 95, of Greer, SC passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 7, 2016. Mary was born on May 25, 1920 at in Phoenix, AZ to Thomas V and Gladys Ensley Swartz. She moved to Tucson with her parents and brother, William Swartz. She graduated from Tucson High School in 1938, and attended University of Arizona. Mary was married for 46 years to Joe B Holloway, Sr. Mary worked in the Parts Department for Rudolph Chevrolet, later known as Lou Grubb Chevrolet in Phoenix and retired in May of 1975. She had one step-son, Joe B Holloway, Jr., who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Thomas of Greer, SC, Carol (Allen) Blackburn of Mesa, AZ and step-daughter Dorothy King of Phoenix, AZ; 5 grandchildren Bethany(Cleve Lancaster) , Benjamin (Betsy) Thomas, Scott ( Stephanie) Thomas, Melissa (Scott) Ross, Matthew (Kimberly) Blackburn; 6 step-grandchildren Tom (Pam) Castagnola, Michael (Yvette) Castagnola, Linda Love, Joe (Queta) Holloway, Robert (Christina) Holloway, Jimmy (Lesley) Holloway; 6 great grandchildren Wesley, Mackenzie, Riley, Clayton, Henry, Dillon; numerous other step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
