Lena Christine Harrington, age 90, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on April 25, 2014. She was born July 5, 1923 in Pitcher, New York to Clayton Marcellus and Maude Susie (Horton) Smith.
Chris is preceded in death by her sister Shirley and her two brothers Floyd and Paul.
She is survived by three sons: Richard Alvah and his wife Carolyn Pudney and their daughter Kristin; Larry Clayton and his wife Jan Pudney and their son and daughter: Jeremy and his wife Nicole Pudney, Heather and Matt Coyle and their four children: Parker, Dallin and the twin girls Brenley and Ainsley; Gregory Robert Pudney and his two sons: Josh and Dustin Pudney; and eight great grandchildren.
Chris worked in the cafeteria at the Cincinnatus school, then later for George Jr. Republic. After retiring she worked several years at the Tastee Freeze in Cincinnatus, New York. Chris, along with a bunch of snowbirds, enjoyed hiking along the numerous trails in the Mesa area.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Melcher Chapel of the Roses on 43 South Stapley, Mesa Arizona 85204.
