Jeannine “Jeanne” Arlene Williams, age 71, passed away peacefully in her home with family and friends surrounding her on November 15, 2019. Jeanne was born on February 26, 1948 in Freeport, Illinois to Esther LaVonne Saxby and James Gordon. Jeanne was adopted and loved by her Father; Charles Kuntzelman.
Jeanne married Teddy L. Williams on June 13, 1966 in Freeport, Illinois. Teddy was a missionary when they met. After finishing Ted’s mission, he went straight into the Army. Ted was only in 30 days when he asked permission to go on leave. He flew back to Illinois and attended Jeanne’s high school graduation. That night he asked her to marry him; come Monday they were married and on a flight back to Arizona to live. They never had an official date. They had three wonderful children; Teddy Jr. Aprile, and Lacey; as well as ten Angel babies.
Jeanne loved so many people, she was very involved with her Church and the Tempe Needlewielders. She loved to crochet chemo hats, blankets and so many other projects. Jeanne was a very compassionate giving person who loved to do all kinds of humanitarian work. Jeanne would bless everyone with her sourdough bread, maple twists, and other baked treats. Jeanne will be so miss. She was loved by so many.
Jeanne is survived by her children; Teddy Jr. (Robyn), Aprile, and Lacey (Benjamin). Her grandchildren Cody (Ashley), Carisa, and Colton (Bobbie). Her great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Mason, Anthony, Brandon, Valkyrie, and Charlotte. Her father; Charles and step-mother; Ellen, siblings; Teresa, Errol, Penny and Ingrid, many nieces and nephews, beloved dogs; Penny and poo poos, as well as plenty of friends that she considered to be family. Jeanne is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Teddy Sr., her mother Esther, Siblings; Mike and April, many Angel babies and dog; Puppy, Tye and Auroa.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Home; 6747 E Broadway Rd. Mesa, Arizona. A Service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00am 920 S. Lindsay Rd. Mesa, Arizona. Following she will be laid to rest with Teddy at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
