Irene Marion Watt former resident of Grants Pass, Oregon passed away on October 8, 2010 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 86. She was born on December 17, 1923 to Pete and Ruth [Peterson] Johnson in Ray, Minnesota. Irene was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting afghans for newlyweds and newborns, she also made quilts, sewed clothes and liked to can and bake, and was known for all the beautiful and unique earrings she loved to wear. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Neil Warren Watt Sr. and is survived by her daughter Judy Watt of Mesa, Arizona; sons Kenneth (Mary) Watt of Grants Pass, Oregon, Neil (Carolyn) Watt of Cordes Junction, Arizona, Raymond (Angel) Watt of Coos Bay, Oregon, Robert Watt of Nice, California and Larry Watt of Nice, California. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one sibling. A visitiation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ. Services and interment will be held in Grants Pass, Oregon.
