Gene was a loving husband, father, Grampa, and friend. He was fondly referred to as “Uncle Gene” amongst his many friends and family members and enjoyed spending time with them. His fun loving and joyful outlook on life brought many happy moments and memories to all who met him. His mornings always started with a song and a smile.
Gene was a man of many talents and he loved to entertain. He had a passion for music, loved to sing and was self-taught on the guitar. He loved playing in his band, and he felt at home on any stage. He was also an avid golfer and loved spending time on the golf course in Arizona. In his spare time, he loved to tinker on projects, learn new things and research trivia of all sorts. He had a great sense of humor and could get a laugh from anyone with his jokes. Gene was a patriot who loved his country and proudly served in the Navy. He was also dedicated to the community during his life as a police officer, security officer, and public transportation manager. He will forever be remembered and loved and never forgotten.
