Felisia Marie Gnim, a resident of Tempe passed away peacefully on the morning of October 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Felisia was born December 26, 1986 in San Angelo, Texas to Esau G. and Adelina B. Ramirez and was the youngest of seven children.
Felisia spent a short time in Texas, before moving with her family to Phoenix, Arizona at the tender age of 1. She spent her youth in Tempe Arizona and graduated from Tempe High School. She attended South Mountain Community college in the years to follow. She had a passion for helping others and worked as a Customer Advocate in healthcare, in pharmacy and customer service. She was creative with foods and everyone loved her homemade eggrolls and friend rice. She was blessed with a son at the age of 27, (Chance Gnim) who was the joy of her life. Before Felisia became a mother to her son Chance, she found solace and happiness with her dog Bleu for 15 years.
Family was the foundation of Felisia’s world. She is survived by: her son Chance Gnim, her father Esau G Ramirez Jr; her mother Adelina B. Ramirez; her brother Esau Ramirez III (Angie); her brother Eddie Ramirez (Nora); her sister Norma Corrales (Dave); her sister Carol Perez (Steve); her brother Eli Felipe Ramirez (Stephanie), her sister Kimberly A. Maza (David) and ten nieces and nephews whom she adored. Jacob Ramirez, Arianna Gallegos, Eddie and Austin Ramirez, Danielle Stephens and Valerie Vega, Steven and Stephanie Perez; and David and Dylan Maza. Felisia was also blessed with 12 grand nieces and nephews. Felisia was preceded in death by: her aunt Jane Ramirez, her cousin Armando Robles, her aunt and uncle Rudy and Amparo Martinez and her aunt Felicia Chavez.
A Mass will be held in Felisia’s honor on October 16, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish located at 5445 E Calle San Angelo, Guadalupe AZ 85283 at 10am. A Celebration of Felisia’s Life and a Dove Release will start at 12:30 PM at Lakeshore Mortuary.
