Duane B. Carter went to meet the Lord on Aug. 6, 2010 at Trillium Specialty Hospital in Mesa, AZ. There will be a Memorial Service Wednesday Aug. 11th 2:30 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel 6747 E. Broadway, Mesa, AZ. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burnsville, MN. Duane B. Carter was born on Dec.12, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN. He was the son of Irving & Alice (Abrahanson) Cater. He has one brother Irving Jr. (Helen) and two sisters, Sonya (Willie) and Jackie (Ray). Duane retired from United Airlines after being there for many years. He served in the United States Army. He was a married to Jean Hennes and has two sons, Paul (Toni) and Andy (Kris); grandchildren, Brody, Megan, Emily, & Grace. Duane married Celeste (Kibbee) on March 3, 2003 in Mesa, AZ at Red Mountain Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Irving & Alice, Jean (1st wife) and sister Sonja. Arrangements are entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care, Mesa, AZ.
