Donna’s devotion to her family was true, fierce, and unwavering. She was a loving, caring mother to her four children — Christine, Michael, James and Daniel, who was laid to rest in 1991. She was dearly loved by her four siblings — John, Janet, Bernice and Stephen — and she found tremendous joy with her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Donna remains forever loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
In her profession, Donna served and protected her community as one of the first female police officers in her hometown of Oak Park. With a move to Chicago, she began a more than 20-year career as a Cook County probation officer, roles in which she used her bilingual skills and gave of herself immensely.
She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit. Donna was fearless, traveled the world, always welcomed a challenge and never stopped seeking new experiences or learning opportunities.
