Daniel Lee Mills

Daniel Lee Mills, husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend went home to his loving Savior and Heavenly Father on September 1, 2023, at the age of 73 in Mesa, Arizona. Dan was born October 21, 1949, in Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. His parents raised him and his five brothers in Bethany, Oklahoma. He later attended Bethany Nazarene College in pursuit of his degree in Aviation.

Dan was an accomplished commercial pilot, a talented singer and published author. He was happily married to the love of his life, Cindy (Welch) Mills. He loved golf, guns, Scuba diving, and the Oklahoma Sooners. Dan knew no stranger and cherished his lifelong relationships with his friends.

Dan was proceeded in death by his daughter, Tracy Diane, and survived by his wife, Cindy Mills, son Aaron Mills, grandchild Jacob Mills, stepchildren - Christian Page, Amber Harper, Ashli Wright and all 10 step grandchildren who so lovingly called him “Pie”. Dan also loved their fur baby; A rescue German Shepard named Millie.

A graveside service for Daniel will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 10:30 AM at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.
