Constance “Connie" Rogers, born August 15, 1939 in Nora Springs, IA to Benjamin A. and Bernice M. [Furrow] Barker, passed away February 27, 2014 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 74. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who had a passion for making crafts, scrap-booking and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a very active and longtime member of the Mesa First Church of the Nazarene and was also a member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bud Rogers; stepson Steven Rogers as well as her brothers Ed and Bob Barker. She is survived by her children: Karla (Thomas) Tennyson, Dale (Tamie) Nicol, Randy (Pam) Nicol and Angela (Gary) Springer; stepchildren Cathy Jones, James Rogers, Robert (Tallerita) Rogers and Sheila Morales; her sister Doris Roberts; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, March 8 at Mesa First Church of the Nazarene, 955 E University Dr., Mesa, AZ 85203.
