He was born in Lexington, Nebraska on March 29, 1946. He graduated from Lexington High. He was married to Virginia Lee on February, 26 1996 in Mesa, Arizona.
Charles worked at Coors. He had a passion for golfing, fishing and going to the casinos.
He was survived by his Wife, Virginia Lee Wind their children Denyie Lynn and Bret PaPell, Jacquee Sila, Carrie Wind, angela and Kurt Clerich, Michelle and Phil Boudreaux, and Yolanda Schroeder. His Siblings Dough and MJ Wind, Cindy and Terry Dutton and Roger and Efie Wind. He had 8 grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. He had numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Along with Many, Many friends.
He preceded in death by his Father, Charles "Bud" Wind. His mother, Beulah Wind, and Maxwell Kenedy - Grandson.
