Bradley's guardians', Gerald and Jeanne Hudy at his side. He was born in Williams, AZ, on November 6, 1961 and was a member of the Hualapai Tribe, in Peach Springs, AZ, where his surviving siblings; Angie Walema and Morton Wellington reside.
When Bradley was in his late 20's, he resided in a group home setting in Tucson, AZ, and ultimately Gerald Hudy became his guardian in June 1991. A few short years after that, Mike Christenson came into his life as a foster father for the next 29 years. We thank Mike for his many years of exceptional, loving care for Bradley who had Down Syndrome.
Bradley had a great passion for music in his life, along with dancing with his girlfriend, Vikki. He enjoyed carnival rides, swimming, riding his tricycle and ending his days with ice cream! So many family and friends describe him as a gentle, beautiful soul, with a joyful spirit. He was such a blessing to so many that knew him. He really brought out the best in others. Brad touched many lives along the way and will be greatly missed.
In the Springtime of 2024, Bradley's ashes will be taken to Peach Springs, AZ where he will be laid to rest with his family.
(Native American Poem)
I give you this one thought to keep-
I am with you still, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush -
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still, in each new dawn.
