A public Memorial Service celebrating the life of Beverly Ann Randza, 75, a resident of Mesa will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care at 6747 E Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206 on Saturday, June 29th at 11:30 am.
Mrs. Randza slipped away peacefully Thursday, June 21, 2013 at the Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa. Beverly A. Randza was born August 28, 1937, the wife of Gene Victor Randza and daughter of Jesse and Bess (Willis) VanKirk. She had many loved ones by her side at the time of her passing.
Beverly thoroughly enjoyed her family and loved to reminisce of days gone by of her 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She attributed the love they shared to that which was passed on by her parents. Not an hour would go by that she would not brag about her 5 grandsons and dear granddaughter Chloe, or how proud she was of her daughter Jennifer’s accomplishments. She took great delight in telling the stories of how she was present in the delivery rooms during the birth of 4 of her grandchildren. She spent her time swimming, attending to events for grandchildren and planning the next special trip with Jen. The beach was always the most desired of her choice of destinations. Other enjoyments were going to church, eating out and just sharing time with Gene, whom was her lifelong companion and love. Bev and Gene met when they were only 10 and 6 years old, and she loved to call attention to his academic success and recent attainment of his Master’s degree. She was an avid reader and shared this interest with her special niece Annette. She often spoke of the pleasure of having tea and scones. A love of her life was her dog Bella who provided years of companionship to her. She frequently gave thanks to the Lord for her blessings.
In addition to raising two children, she worked at and retired from Walgreens Pharmacy as a Cosmetic/Beauty advisor in 2005. Prior to that, she had worked in various professions, one of which was a tour guide. She always quickly excelled to a supervisory level and took great pride in all that she did. Some of her other interests were studying clouds, taking karate lessons and square dancing and visiting Laughlin and Las Vegas.
