Anson Gerald Farr Jr.

70, of Tempe, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on June 27, 2015. Buddy was born on September 29, 1944 in Tyler, TX. He had an adventurous spirit, having lived overseas as an ex-pat for Texas Instruments and Amkor Technology Inc. Buddy enjoyed cooking, entertaining for friends and family, playing golf, grilling for the Tempe Fire Department, and volunteering at Breckenridge Golf Club and the town's Oktoberfest in the summers. He could often be found standing in the driveway with his best friend, Prince, visiting with the neighbors. As his good friend has stated, "Throughout his lifetime, Buddy consistently touched more hearts than anyone could have ever imagined." Buddy is survived by his wife, Gigi, and his three children: Anson Gerald Farr III, Justin Laiduc, and Giselle Laiduc. A funeral service will be held at Sun Valley Community Church (6101 South River Drive, Tempe, AZ, 85283) on July 18, 2015 at 11am.
