Ana Maria De La Torre, 45, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, December 17, 2021. Ana was born to Mariaelena De La Torre and Cosmo Corrado on February 27, 1976. Ana was a fun, vibrant and loving child always so protective of her siblings. She was a Mesa High School graduate in 1994 and shortly after she completed her Associates Degree and went in to the medical field where she worked extremely hard in the field she loved so much.
Ana really enjoyed life and never took anything for granted. She had many accomplishments in her life but the one that she was most proud of was her daughter Yesenia. Ana loved Yesenia so much and she was so proud of her. She also loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her own.
Ana was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. She loved to cook for her family and have everyone around the dinner table after she would whip something up. She enjoyed dancing, music, cooking, arts and crafts, and sports. Ana was one of a kind. She was a bright light in many people’s lives.
Nothing pleased Ana more than being surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughter Yesenia Matienzo; her parents, Mariaelena De La Torre and Cosmo Corrado; her grandparents, Ana and David Cohen; her aunts, Laura Molina and Lillian Ramirez; her sisters, Victoria and Sonia Beverly; her nieces, Jade, Delilah, and Sage, and her nephews Moses, and Kai.
Ana’s constant love, her hugs, her laugh, her huge heart, her stories, her food, will truly be missed. To be a part of her life was to know the meaning of love and family. Ana will be deeply missed.
