Kevin C. Shaw

Kevin C. Shaw, age 60 was born on December 12, 1960 in Fargo, North Dakota and passed away suddenly and peacefully on May 10, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri. He resided most of his life in Merritt Island, Florida.

Kevin enjoyed music and was an avid guitar player, placing 1st in rhythm guitar in the state of Florida as a senior in high school. His first love was art, majoring in Fine Arts at Brevard Community College and a Masters Degree in IT from the University of Phoenix.

He loved designing and building boats, employed by Sea Ray for nearly 25 years. After that, he designed boats for Bass Pro Shop and was the Brand Manager for Ranger and Mako boats. In addition, Kevin was a professor of a number of disciplines involving design at Eastern Florida State College.

Kevin was a Christian and was actively involved in the Via de Christo Music Ministry as well as a member of Faith Lutheran Church for 20 years.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharon, and his son, Ian and his wife Amalia, and granddaughter, Faith; father, Lt. Col. Jerome Shaw and two sisters, Jeri Snyder and Sheila Scherff.

A celebration of life for Kevin will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 280 E. Merritt Avenue, Merritt Island, Florida 32953.
