Grace McCormick

Sanger, TX – Grace went to be with Jesus, April 13, 2018. She was born in Guntersville, Alabama on December 15, 1944. She and her husband of 56 years, Fred McCormick, met in Cocoa and were best friends and constant companions. Grace was a realtor and a cosmetologist for many years. She is survived by her husband, Fred McCormick; daughter Karla Skinner (husband Jeff); daughter Connie Uhrlaub (husband Randy); grandchildren Ryan Ritchie, Tara Tappan, Tim Uhrlaub, Alex Ritchie, Jessica East, Andrew Ritchie, and Jared Uhrlaub; twelve great-grandchildren (Cameron, Amelia, Catalina, Piper, Parker, Alex, Liam, Natalie, Owen, Tessa, Ellie, Asher); brother Johnny McDaniel; sisters Pat Raley, Wilma Elliott, Elaine Smithson; cousins Pete and Sue Whitman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace is predeceased by her father OD McDaniel, mother Pearl Bennett, brothers Butch McDaniel and Larry McDaniel. Family will receive friends at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, FL on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm. Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 28th, at 10 am at Pinecrest Cemetery on Clearlake Road in Cocoa.
