Frank Lloyd Dunn, 64, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2012.

He was a loving husband and father. After a long illness he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Frank is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carol, his daughter Catherine, son-in-law, and a soon to be born grandson. He is also survived by two brothers Robert of Columbia, Maryland and Ritchie of Mt. Airy, Maryland, as well as 8 nieces and nephews.

Although originally from Maryland, Frank was a 36 year resident of Florida. His 43 year career included time on the missile tracking ship, the Vandenberg. He then worked on radar systems with RCA, GE, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin which included travel overseas as well much of the U.S. His expertise in his field was appreciated by all who worked with him.

The family will be receiving visitors on Thursday July 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 North Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island. There will also be a Service at 7:30.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or Vitas, Hospice.
