My heart and thoughts are with your family, I'm so sorry you're going through this tremendously difficult time. I will always have such fun and funny memories with you all,  Victoria, Madison and Tayler. Though it's been a long time, I often think back to those days and remember her being so funny,  bright and interesting - the cooler older kid I felt lucky just to be around. Wishing you all peace and healing, with much love.

We had a sleep over, dressed in onesies from Walmart, made Spaghetti sandwhiches with garlic bread and watched movies. It was a blast and we had a lot of fun.

Thank you for being such a kind and beautiful person. I will never forget the great times we all spent together, R.I.P

Torie was one of the brightest and most caring people I ever met. She was a bright light in the cold, grey, and overcast Pacific Northwest as she helped train us how to care for the new aircraft's logs and records. 

We sporadically kept in touch since then mostly over Facebook. I'll never forget how happy she looked in her posts hanging out on the beaches in Guam. Or how proud she was when she posted that her brother is following her footsteps as he graduated from Navy boot camp! Torie was loved by all and will be missed by all. My prayers go out to the Starks family in this difficult time.

I’m deeply sorry for your loss. In this difficult time my heart goes to Tori’s family.  Her gentle spirit and warm personality was a beacon to all us that had the chance to meet and share times with her. Again, my thoughts and prayers to her family.

Being able to have had the chance to see Torie in San Diago with my Wife and Mother-in-Law last Thanksgiving will always be cherished memory's. That night Torie and my wife went to the supermarket and got a bunch of random food for me to cook, kind of like a strange cooking contest. she was a wonderful friend and Shipmate. Victoria will be missed immensely.  

Wish I could go back in time and hug you one more time. We will miss you. Your shine was so bright, and infectious. May you shine on friend in the starlight. 

 
Story: Torie was one of my best friends while I was in the Navy. We officially met the first day of a detachment when she was bringing in all her paperwork by herself from the plane and I offered her some help. It was SO cold (Whidbey) and everything was so heavy, we were laughing at how terrible it was. After that we hung out basically every day. Quickly we realized that we had the same sense of humor and we kept each other company throughout the months of the detachment. We'd go to the gym, hang in our rooms or go out for karaoke.. We had so much fun dancing like fools and acting like fools when we were together. We had a lot in common and we shared a lot of laughs. 

Our friendship continued for years after and some of my favorite memories are with Torie. We talked on the phone every month or two to catch up and she was always so sweet and caring. And I got to see her a couple times after I got out of the Navy. She was my only Navy friend who came to my wedding and one of the only ones I talked to regularly after I got out. She always let me know how much she cared about me and our friendship. She was one of my best friends. 

To Tories Family, you are all in my thoughts. My sincerest condolences. I hope you all find your path to healing. 

To Torie, I'm so sad that you aren't here anymore. I can't stop thinking about you. I don't want this to be true. I'm so thankful for the memories we shared even though they are breaking my heart now. I'll keep you in my heart Torie.

But to those who love her, you have my endless gratitude. There’s no right way to navigate this, but I’m trying my best to do so with love. Victoria would have. Dear Tori,

Your smile and infectious personality will live on in the memories of everyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with you. I cannot look back on my childhood without remember all the barbecues, weekends, and holidays we spent together smiling, laughing and playing as kids do. You will be missed! May you Rest in Paradise!

Your bright smile and kind spirit provided a sense of warmth to those lucky enough to have known you. We are grateful to have been family. There are many fond memories with you from weekend bbqs, birthdays, graduations and holidays. We will forever wish we could have spent more time with you. You are woven into our memories and the fabric of our family. You will always be remembered and live on in our hearts. Sweet dreams, love you Tori.

She was always a bright star when I was around.  I will miss her deeply!!  So glad I got to work with her and know her personally, thankfully we stayed in touch over the years.   Rest in Paradise and smile that beautiful smile down on us!!!  

Torie was such an amazing human, her smile could light up any room, and her care for others was contagious. She always knew how to cheer up a workplace and was always so supportive of peoples goals. My fondest memory of us is from deployment in 2017 when we had a 4th of July outing on the beaches of Hawaii. I remember putting on a bunch of lighted up gear and just have a great time dancing and laughing. She was always just so caring and free spirited. God has gained another angel too soon. May her smile and contagious love for others live on. You will be deeply missed by all.

Tori was by far one of the greatest people I have ever met. One to always be there for you and tell you not what you wanted, but needed to hear. She will be loved and missed beyond measure.

Torie was a great soul! She was patient in teaching me everything I needed to know in order to be successful as an AZ. I’m forever grateful our paths crossed and the lasting memories we created while we served at VFA-14. She will be greatly missed! 🕊️

Torie was a bright spot on a gloomy day for a lot of us. Her infectious positive outlook and sense of humor was always worth a conversation with her.  She will forever be missed.

You will remain a beautiful soul in all the memories I had the pleasure of sharing with you. 

This was such a fun weekend. I can't believe this is real. You were such a sweet person. You had a personality that just lit up the room. Sunday fun days with never be the same. Fair winds and following seas. We have the watch.
