Our dearly loved Raul Enrique Perez left this life on September 3rd, 2023. Raul passed away at the age of 56 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue his legacy by living their life to the fullest.Raul will always be remembered as a beam of light in the lives he entered.
Above anything, Raul was a husband and a father. He devoted his love to his wife of 25 years Myriam and his two children Raul Jr. and Paulina Perez. During his time with us, he took joy in cooking delicious food for his family and hosting barbecues for all his friends and family. He welcomed many to have a seat at his table, the place where he loved to chat about his time at Sul Ross State University where he completed his Bachelor's in meat science.
Anyone who had the delight to meet Raul knows that he loved to make conversation and understood it as his way of touching people's hearts. Starting in 2005 he capitalized on his social skills and began his career in Real Estate, where he dedicated his hard work for 18 years. Raul was a work-hard play-hard kind of guy. In his free time, he enjoyed the wonders of life; golfing, hunting, fishing, vacationing, and a cold beer of course.
Raul walked with integrity that gave him the confidence to share his love with those he met. The love he brought to earth has not vanished, but rather taken the form of the heavens.
On September 18, 2023, we give thanks to his vesselled body for bringing this love to our earth. We honor his eyes for always seeing the good in people, his mouth for speaking words of wisdom, and his ears for hearing our cries of laughter and sadness.
May he rest.
