Myron “Mike” Lynn Skinner, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud patriot, passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on September 21, 1935, in New Jersey to Myron and Selena Skinner, he lived a full and meaningful life marked by love, family, and friendships.
Mike dedicated 32 years to the aviation industry as an administrator, demonstrating his commitment to dedication and providing for his family. A proud Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and carried a deep sense of patriotism throughout his life.
For the past 23 years, Mike was a resident of Riverside County, where he enjoyed an active and vibrant lifestyle. He had a passion for running and completed multiple marathons, golfing, tennis, and table tennis, and he found great joy in traveling across the country in an RV with his beloved wife, Margaret. Mike also enjoyed getting out to go fishing, a hobby that brought him relaxation and joy.
A love story for the ages, Mike and Margaret met while roller skating and built a beautiful life together, sharing 65 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Mike is survived by his sister June Petricca, sons Robert Skinner, Roger Skinner, and Richard Skinner; and his granddaughters Sarah Skinner, Brittani Skinner, Haley Skinner, Kayla Skinner, and Nicole Skinner. He is preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Selena Skinner, and his granddaughter, Rachel Skinner.
His legacy of love, dedication, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Mike will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
