Monica was known to be the light in the room and everyone who knew her loved her deeply. She would make everyone feel special and important.
Monica loved going fishing with Robert and spending time with him. She also loved spending time with her family, playing games and supporting the best team ever - The Raiders!
Monica worked at the Riverside County Sheriff's Department for fourteen years. She began her career as an Office Assistant II, in 2009. She was then promoted over time and became a Supervising Sheriff's Record Clerk. She was very knowledgeable and dedicated to her work. She loved to share what she knew with her peers and always wanted the best for her team.
Monica is survived by her husband, Robert B. Steele, daughters, Anastasia Steele and Regina Steele Alexander (Kevin), sons, Robert Steele (Emily) and Matthew Holland, mother, Jennie Mosqueda , sisters, Corrine Contreras (Frank) and Yazminda Pino Nunez (Tony), granddaughters, Imani Steele, Gabriella Simon, Hadlee Steele, Alaina Holland and Imara Alexander, grandsons, Elijah Holland and Abel Holland, God children, comadre Anita Montelongo and the Pino family. Monica is also leaving behind her love, Angel Steele.
Monica was preceded in death by her father, Alex Pino.
A visitation for Monica will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Chapel Corona at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10th, 130. W Chase Dr, Corona, CA 92882.
