I learned today of your husband’s passing when I asked at High Point this morning. My heart is heavy with this news.  What a fine man of God with the most wonderful welcoming smile. He was devoted to you. It will take some time in extreme grief but no doubt he is with his Maker, the Lord our God. He was so kind. My heart aches for you and all the family I don’t even know. His coworker, Vickie said it was the most beautiful service she’d ever experienced. I would have been there if I had known. If you want to talk, please don’t hesitate to call me. I’d be proud to listen. So thankful that I got to see him and talk there at High Point.  Such a joyful Christian man and he’d just brighten my day. My number is 901-619-8426. My name is Susan.

" I miss you sooo much " when I pull into the parking lot...I expect that  big " T " truck to be there. Condolences are usually, for the family. But this note is for you.  One of your favorites came into the store. ( With child ) I recalled how excited you were, when you found out. 
Well she's doing well and pretty as ever!  My  uncle doesn't understand why he can't come see you... On his good days...I miss and love you!

I will miss him so much. Such a kind, caring, and gentle man.  My prayers for his family and friends.

We loved Willie here in High Point Terrace.  He was quite possibly the nicest and kindest person I've met.

My heart and prayers go out to Willie’s family. He always had a smile and joyful greeting for all.  The  last time I saw him at High Point Grocery he greeted me with that smile and we would check to see how the other was doing. I told him I came for his smile but might pick up a few groceries. He smiled even bigger and we both talked about our day and how blessed we both were, then went about our ways. Oh how much all of us in HighPoint will miss his  joyful and kind spirit.  Hugs, love and prayers for Willie’s  family.  Deepest sympathies for your loss.

I met Mr. Willie Cole when he came to High Point Grocery as the butcher. His bright smile and friendly greetings made shopping there a pleasure. He always asked about how I was doing and if my day was good. He had the grace to make even the gloomiest day brighter. I was blessed to have Mr. Willie in my life even if it was for a brief time. My condolences to his friends and family. He truly was an angel who walked among us, and he will be missed by all who came to know him.

A very dear friend of mine. There was a time that we sang in the Choir together and my nickname for him is the voice of the White Stone Choir. He loved to sing praises to the LORD and bring joy to the hearts of others through song. He sang a solo at my brother’s funeral in 2020 and he has also sang for a countless number of others over the years. I’ll truly miss him on my visits to Memphis. I pray blessings over his wife and family knowing that God will comfort, strengthen and  keep them until we all meet again.

I worked with Willie over the years , excellent meat man , not many of us old timers around. , he’s gonna be missed , fly high brother .

Uncle Willie is what I called him & always will in my heart....everytime I was ever in his presence I was greeted with the warmest hello & biggest smile...very sweet man & that's how I will always remember him....to my Aunt Debra & family you are in my prayers

To the family of my dear friend  Mr. Willie Cole you all have my deepest sympathy 🙏.   Willie was a classmate of mine at Westwood High class of 1973 and also a military brother as well, a member  of the 330th Combat Support Hospital Unit, Memphis, Tn.  During the those many years Willie has always been a very bright humble man that was well liked and loved, I cannot recall not a person that had a problem or issue with Willie for as long as I have known  him.  I will truly miss Willie because you can't  find many people these days or time that had the unique qualities as Willie.  God bless Willie as he has transitioned to the Kingdom of our Lord and may God continue to comfort his family doing this most sad and difficult time.   Thank you Willie for being my friend and I being yours.
