Sherita Elaine Jones

Sherita Elaine Jones passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 41. Sherita was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and graduated from L.W. Higgins High School in 1999. Sherita attended Nichols State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She moved to California soon after to pursue her passion of acting and appeared in several movies, television shows, commercials, and print advertising campaigns. She was a certified fitness trainer who also enjoyed working in the hospitality industry.

A fitness enthusiast who loved sharing and discussing her knowledge on living a healthy lifestyle; she was very ambitious and hardworking, a fast talker with an energetic personality. Sherita was known to be very opinionated, fiery, passionate but also practical. She was always willing to listen and very loyal to everyone she loved.

Daughter of Rudy Jones Sr. & the late Gertrude Jones; Sherita was survived by her two sons Kyle Frazier and Matthew Parker, brothers - Rickie Gary (Wanda) & Rudy Jones Jr. (Jessica), Aunts - Patsylean Jones, Elaine Austin, Mary Merriweather, and Doris Pride; Uncles - Willie James Pride, Willie Fox Pride Jr. and Donald Jones and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.

Sherita Elaine Jones was loved and will be missed by a countless number of souls that she had touched during her 41-years of her life.
